Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking a Billing Specialist to support attorneys across multiple practice groups. You will analyze discrepancies in time entries, process e-bills, and coordinate rate changes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with client policies.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior IP billing experience preferred
• Prior experience with 3E preferred
• Ability to analyze, assess problems, prioritize concerns and decide
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must adapt to changing schedules
• Strong work ethic, flexible and dependable
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experience with Cognos and multi-currency settings preferred
• Excel experience with Pivot tables required

Responsabilidades

• Assist billing attorneys by analyzing and resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate time, fees, and codes
• Receive, process and finalize billing for attorneys across multiple practice groups
• Coordinate, monitor and process markdowns, write-offs, and maintenance
• Submit electronic bills using various e-billing systems
• Revalue time entries after rate changes and update rates in e-billing sites
• Assist with cost backup for invoices
• Support attorneys and LPS on billing processes and policies
• Monitor billing department emails and hotlines
• Document and update Billing Profiles
• Assist AR and Client Support in resolving billing issues
• Review new matter setup, discounts, time types and rate exceptions
• Complete special projects and analysis
• Other duties as assigned
