Job summary
Jackson Lewis seeks a results-oriented Business Development Manager to partner with offices across NYC, White Plains, Long Island, Albany, Philadelphia, and Berkeley Heights. You will build relationships with office leadership, create office-specific BD plans, and drive client development, marketing, and communications initiatives.
You will collaborate with proposal and intelligence teams and coach lawyers to expand networks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of business development and/or marketing experience in a law firm or professional services.
- College degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel among multiple offices as needed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary BD partner for assigned offices and key stakeholders.
- Develop office-specific business development plans aligned with firm strategies.
- Drive client development, marketing, and external communications initiatives.
- Collaborate with Proposal and Strategic Intelligence teams for pitches.
- Leverage CRM data to measure activity, pipeline, and outcomes.
- Coach lawyers to enhance business development skills and networks.
- Provide onboarding support for lateral attorneys joining offices.
