Qualifications

• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Controller in managing the firm's accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and internal analysis.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger activity.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Monitor operating and trust account activity.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Analyze financial data and provide reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
