Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking a Law Clerk to support the Money Laundering, Narcotics and Forfeiture Section (MNF). You will assist attorneys with the litigation process, review paralegal work, and prepare motions, briefs, and memoranda of law while screening documents for privilege.

The role requires a law degree or current ABA law student status with at least one year completed, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a team environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Law degree or currently a student at an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed.
• Experience conducting legal research using various research tools and law library resources.
• Excellent communication skills; oral and written, including legal writing.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software, including databases.
• Ability to work in a team environment, deliver high quality work, and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assists attorneys with the litigation process.
• Reviews work of paralegals and clerks.
• Prepares all documents related to the litigation process including drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.
• Screens documents for privilege.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
