Job summary
FSA Federal (FSA) invites applications for a Law Clerk to support the United States Attorney's Office nationwide mission of removing tools of crime and disrupting criminal enterprises. Under supervision, you will assist attorneys with the litigation process, review paralegals' work, draft motions and briefs, and screen documents for privilege, while maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.
Requirements include a law degree or current ABA‑accredited law student with at least one year
Qualifications
- Law Degree or current ABA-accredited law student with at least one year completed.
- Experience conducting legal research using varied resources and tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including legal writing.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal databases.
- Ability to work in a team environment under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with the litigation process under supervision.
- Review the work of paralegals and clerks.
- Prepare documents related to litigation, including motions, briefs, and memoranda of law.
- Screen documents for privilege.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
