Loyola University Chicago seeks a Senior Director of Law Career Services to develop a strategic vision for the CSO, manage staff and day‑to‑day operations, and serve as the public face of the office within the law school and broader legal community in Chicago.

The role partners with Law School leadership to maximize student placement and compliance with ABA standards, including data collection, reporting, and robust career advising across JD, LLM, and MJ programs.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA‑approved law school in good standing.
• 5–7 years of experience delivering legal career services in an academic environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with students, alumni, faculty, staff, employers, and university administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual goals and strategies to maximize employment outcomes across diverse pipelines.
• Develop and deliver a robust career advising program for JD, LLM, MJ students.
• Lead employer outreach to law firms, corporations, and public agencies; maintain external presence in Chicago legal community.
• Oversee the School’s interview programs, including OCI and Patent Law.
• Coordinate with administration on budget requests, purchases, and service agreements, ensuring compliance with policies.
