Job summary

University of San Francisco seeks an Associate Director of Career Services to lead counseling for JD/LL.M./Master's students and alumni, expanding networking and job search strategies. You will collaborate with faculty, alumni, and employers to create impactful programming and opportunities.

Reporting to the Director, you will supervise staff, manage data reporting for ABA/NALP metrics, and advance office initiatives to connect students with meaningful legal careers.

Qualifications

• J.D. and a minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in the practice of law.
• Extensive knowledge of career-related issues in the practice of law and broad contacts in private and public sectors.

Responsibilities

• Counsel a portfolio of JD/LL.M./Master's students, recent graduates and alumni on career options, networking, job search strategies, and interviewing.
• Develop and implement on-campus recruiting programs and mock interview sessions with the OCS Team.
• Plan and deliver career-related presentations, workshops, and programs aligned with the office’s goals.
• Coordinate relationships with student affinity groups and external employers for meaningful opportunities.
• Supervise OCS support staff and student assistants while tracking progress in the career database.
