Job summary

Hillyard, Inc. is looking for a Customer Field Service/Sales Specialist to manage the Laundry & Warewash market in East Hartford, CT. This role blends hands-on mechanical work with direct customer interaction to deliver effective solutions.

You will partner with sales leaders, install and service dispensing equipment, and train customers while building lasting relationships that drive account growth. This position offers a path into a sales career.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment.
• Interest in growing into a sales or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Laundry/Warewash experience is a plus—but trainable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Leaders and Account Managers to support and grow customer accounts
• Conduct on-site evaluations to identify opportunities for improved laundry and warewash solutions
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical dispensing equipment
• Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to customers
• Build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your customers
• Recommend and implement solution-based improvements that drive results
• Perform routine service visits and respond to customer needs
• Support sales initiatives and help identify growth opportunities within your territory
