Hillyard, Inc. is hiring a Laundry & Warewash Solutions Specialist to support our team in East Hartford, CT. This role blends mechanical work with customer interaction to build a pathway into a future sales career.

You’ll partner with sales leaders, conduct on-site evaluations, install and troubleshoot equipment, and deliver training to customers. Great communication and problem-solving are essential, with training provided for warewash solutions.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Interest in growing into a sales or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to solve problems and think critically in the field.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Laundry/Warewash experience is a plus—but we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Leaders and Account Managers to support and grow customer accounts.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to identify opportunities for improved laundry and warewash solutions.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical dispensing equipment.
• Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to customers.
• Build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your customers.
• Recommend and implement solution-based improvements that drive results.
• Perform routine service visits and respond to customer needs.
• Support sales initiatives and help identify growth opportunities within your territory.
