Job summary

Vestis® is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities across assigned departments in a large industrial laundry operation. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and achieving production goals while maintaining positive employee relations.

You will supervise teams, monitor workflows, train staff, and drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency, with emphasis on adherence to company policies and safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Capability to work safely and conscientiously in a fast paced, loud work environment with machinery.
• Proved record of work attendance.
• Capability of reading and understanding work instructions in English.
• Basic Math reasoning skills.
• Lifting Ability; up to 50 pounds; Push/Pull Ability; up to 300 pounds assisted

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned area of production responsibility as scheduled in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitors work activities in assigned area and ensures safety policies are followed.
• Trains new and existing employees on safe and efficient production practices.
• Attends departmental meetings to engage and complete education and training.
• Develops and maintains positive employee relations by applying company policies across the group.
• Identifies production improvement strategies to enhance equipment and worker performance and quality.
• Creates and support a culture of adherence to standardization for safety, financial, and service goals.
• Other duties as assigned by plant/production or general manager.
• Supervises department areas (Receive and Soil Sort/Classification; Wash Dry Aisle; Garment Finishing/Sortation; Bundle and Distribution)
