Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (2:30pm start) to oversee daily laundry production activities. You will manage a team, drive safety, efficiency, and profitability while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include training staff, monitoring work, and implementing improvement strategies to enhance equipment and worker performance. You will lead multiple department areas under the plant/production manager’s direction.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding work instructions in English.
• Basic math reasoning skills.
• Lifting ability up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 300 pounds assisted.
• Occupational safety awareness and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Experience in a fast paced industrial laundry environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned production area safely and efficiently.
• Trains new and existing employees on safe production practices.
• Monitors work activities for safety policy compliance and efficiency.
• Identifies and implements production improvement strategies.
• Supervises the department areas and coordinates with plant/production manager.
