Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is seeking a maintenance technician with strong mechanical skills to service laundry equipment and related systems at our hotel complex. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, including electrical and control systems knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Full availability is required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Experience with laundry equipment (Chicago, Milnor, Jensen)
Advanced English reading/writing and speaking to read logs, blueprints and communicate safely
Basic trade mathematical skills
2–3 years hands-on maintenance experience
Ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 75 lbs.
Full availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, replace, and install laundry equipment (commercial washers, dryers, conveyors, ironers, folders, boilers, steam press)
Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, pneumatic/hydraulic controls, boiler/steam distribution, HVAC, and laundry systems maintenance
Follow OSHA safety procedures and regulations
Understand utility and sewer systems related to laundry operations
Prepare records and reports describing procedures and actions taken
Other duties as assigned
