Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co at Cabana Bay Laundry in Apopka, FL is seeking a maintenance technician to perform repair, replacement and installation of laundry equipment and related systems. You will work with Chicago, Milnor, and Jensen machines, applying mechanical skills and basic math to keep operations running smoothly.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

Experience with Chicago, Milnor, and Jensen laundry equipment.
Advanced English language communication to read logs, blueprints and safety instructions.
Basic trade mathematical skills.
2–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a technical environment.
Ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 75 lbs and full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation of laundry equipment, washers, dryers, conveyors and related machinery.
Maintains electrical systems, control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, boilers and steam distribution.
Adheres to OSHA safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains utility and sewer systems for Laundry operations.
Prepares records and reports describing procedures and solutions.
Other duties as assigned.
