Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is hiring a part-time Laundry Attendant at Holiday Inn Express Brookhaven in Brookhaven, MS. This role involves handling soiled linens, operating washers and dryers, and ensuring guest-related laundry needs are met with care.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is sufficient. You will work in a team environment, maintain cleanliness, and support hotel operations with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No formal experience required for the position.
• Ability to recognize and work with numbers.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment.
• Communicate information, respond to questions, and provide directions and hotel services to guests, vendors, staff member and management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.
• Process sorted linen utilizing washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders.
• Turn in all articles found in Laundry Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found.
• Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/ complaints as they may arise to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to the department to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
