Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Town Center in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Laundry Attendant. The role keeps linens stocked, washed, dried, folded and ready for guest rooms. It is a busy, behind-the-scenes position that supports housekeeping and hotel operations.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and can work weekends and holidays. Training is provided; on-site work in a warm, humid laundry environment with safety standards in place.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred; we'll train.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens and terry by type and soil level.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely.
• Treat stains and inspect linens for damage; rewash or discard as needed.
• Fold, stack, and organize clean linens; maintain par levels.
• Deliver and stock clean linens to housekeeping storage and floors.
• Keep laundry area clean and organized; clear lint traps regularly.
• Follow MSDS regulations for chemical handling.
• Report equipment issues promptly and assist with shifts as required.
