Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown is seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to help maintain the highest quality of linens, towels and hospitality supplies for our guests.

You will operate and maintain laundry equipment, assist with inventory, and ensure a clean, organized work area while meeting safety and service standards. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must pay close attention to detail and maintain a high standard of quality.
• Must possess the ability to work effectively independently and with others.
• Must present a professional image and maintain a safe and orderly work area.
• Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel.
• Perform all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area.
• Keep shelves and supplies well stocked and organized; inform supervisor of shortages in inventory or supplies.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform additional laundry services, as needed.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.
