Job summary

SMI Hotel Group is seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to ensure guests receive the highest quality linens, bedding and towels. The position offers full-time benefits and on-site work at the hotel.

You will maintain a constant supply of clean linens, perform all stages of linen processing, and keep laundry areas and equipment clean and organized. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel.
• Perform all stages of linen processing: collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading/unloading, ironing, folding, storing and delivering.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and area.
• Keep shelves and supplies stocked; inform supervisor of shortages.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform additional laundry services as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel
• Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area
• Keep shelves and supplies well stocked and organized, inform supervisor of shortages in inventory or supplies
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform additional laundry services, as needed
• Performs any other related duties as assigned

• Must possess the ability to work effectively independently and with others
• Must present a professional image and maintain a safe and orderly work area
• Must be available on weekends and holidays
