Laundry Attendant

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Communitycurrently has a wonderful opportunityto join our incredibleFacility Services Team! This is a Full-Timeposition with excellent benefits. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
We are seeking an individual who is friendly, compassionate, andself-motivated. Someone who has a passion for cleanliness and takes pride in a job well done. If this sounds like you, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team. We will provide the tools and training you need to be successful.

Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, weekend/holiday rotation required

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Perform general laundry duties, such as: sorting, washing, drying folding and hanging residentlaundry and other linen
• Stack carts safely and deliver resident clothing and facility linen, as directed
• Keeps laundry area and delivery carts, clean, sanitized and in good working order
• Useproper safety measures at all times
• Willingness to accept additional job responsibilities and schedule changes as they arise

Requirements:

• Able to work respectfully and effectively with residents, guests, and team members
• Demonstrates independent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Works well independently and as a member of a team
• PreviousLaundry experience a plus but not a must-we will provide training!
