Job description

Join to apply for the Laundry Attendant role at Michigan State University College of Engineering.

This position involves seaming, sewing, hemming, pricing adjustments, product receiving and organizing, inventory logging, tagging/retagging of uniforms, staging items for embroidery, and assisting in counter service. The role includes training in and backup responsibilities for the embroidery room.

All positions in SLE are critical. In case of university closure or emergency, employees are expected to report to work as scheduled. Remote work may be permitted for some hours if approved.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of a grade school education or equivalent experience
• Frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with inventory scanning equipment
• Retail customer service experience

Additional Information

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with variable hours depending on needs. The physical demands include frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds.
