Position Summary: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning and monitoring hotel linens and terry by washing, drying, and ironing, and providing guest laundry services to the Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Hotel teams. The role requires adherence to safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Identify stained or damaged items and determine the appropriate action (repair, spot treatment, rewash, discard)
• Inspect cleanliness of laundered articles and place them in designated carts
• Set dryers to appropriate times and temperatures based on fabric type
• Maintain equipment by removing lint and debris after each load
• Fold and deliver linen to storage areas
• Maintain accurate records of laundered items
• Follow all safety and security policies
• Maintain a professional appearance and welcoming attitude towards guests
• Work independently and communicate effectively with team members and guests
• Ensure cleanliness of laundry surroundings
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Experience: Prior laundry experience preferred

Hours Required: Varies based on hotel needs; must be able to work weekends and holidays

Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
