We are currently hiring a Laundry Aide to help ensure residents receive clean, properly handled clothing and linens. This role is an important part of maintaining a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Rotating Weekends and Holidays Required
Sort linens, towels, clothing, and other laundry items by color, size, and material
Operate commercial laundry equipment while following proper sanitization procedures
Load and unload commercial washers and dryers
Prepare and package clean laundry for delivery to residents
Create laundry tags using appropriate resident identification information
Assist with receiving and unloading laundry deliveries from vendors and suppliers
Stock laundry supplies, including detergent, bleach, laundry bags, and fabric softener
Clean and maintain the laundry room and equipment
Follow established safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures
Work cooperatively with team members to support resident needs
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred, but not required
Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred, but not required
Basic understanding of hospitality and customer service
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand measurements
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Commitment to proper personal hygiene and professional appearance
