Job summary

North Royalton Post Acute in Ohio is seeking a general laundry associate to support resident care by keeping linens clean, fresh, and available for each room.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, label, and deliver laundry while maintaining sanitary procedures and safe use of equipment. GED or HS diploma preferred; 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions for laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Label new resident items as needed.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Follow sanitary procedures related to laundry duties.
• Report equipment issues to the Administrator.
