Job summary

Bear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend Laundry Aide to perform a variety of laundry and housekeeping duties for the facility.

You will ensure the timely provision of clean linen and clothing for residents, label items when needed, and maintain sanitary procedures for a comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and labors required for laundry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed; maintain cleanliness.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and use equipment safely.
• Follow sanitary processes and report equipment issues to supervisor.
