Job summary

Park Meadows Post Acute is seeking a dedicated laundry attendant to join our nursing home team. The role involves sorting, washing, drying and folding clothing and linens, labeling new resident items, and delivering clean laundry to resident rooms.

The position requires a GED or high school diploma and preferred 1 year of experience. Safety and sanitation in laundry operations are emphasized, with routine inventory management and equipment use responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills for inventory and counting.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Maintain linen inventory and remove damaged items from service.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and report issues as needed.
