Job summary

Beavercreek Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support resident comfort by maintaining a steady supply of clean linen and garments. You will sort, wash, dry, and fold, label items, and deliver them to resident rooms while following sanitary procedures.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic math, and reading of directions. GED or HS diploma preferred; about one year of experience is helpful in a steady nursing home environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Label new resident’s clothing items as needed.
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
