Yona in Pocahontas, AR is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. Experience is not required, but preferred. You will provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents and visitors, operate commercial laundry equipment, sort and fold linen, and help maintain a clean, organized laundry area.

Responsibilities

• Transport soiled and clean linen carts.

• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver laundry as specified.
• Provide high-quality customer service to residents and families.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
