Yona is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team in Franklin Township, NJ. Experience is not required but preferred; you will handle laundry tasks and help maintain clean resident environments. The role emphasizes reliable, compassionate service for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, sorting linens, stocking supplies, and keeping records. We value integrity and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfectants, etc.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights.
