Job summary

Yona is seeking a Laundry Aide in Michigan to join the team and provide clean, fresh linen and clothing services for residents and staff.

No prior experience is required, but preferred; you will operate commercial washers/dryers, transport linen, sort, fold, and distribute items while maintaining inventory and a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
