The role involves operating commercial washers/dryers, sorting, loading, folding linen, keeping records, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean laundry area while following company policies and ensuring customer service quality.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions for cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible and shows integrity in daily tasks.
• Ability to work well with residents and staff.
• Criminal background check required.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled and clean linen to carts.
• Operates commercial washers and dryers.
• Sorts and loads linens for washing and drying.
• Folds and distributes clean linen into carts.
• Keeps accurate linen inventory records.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains laundry areas and equipment, keeping them clean and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts customer service first, ensuring high quality care and atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
