Martin County Health Care Facility is hiring a full-time Laundry Aide to support our facility’s daily operations. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution of laundry, including residents’ personal clothing, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Martin County Health Care Facility is seeking a full-time Laundry Aide to join our team. Laundry Aide Responsibilities:

• Perform general laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, and folding laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, iron, and store all facility laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute all residents’ personal clothing.
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, baskets, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Discard waste and trash into proper containers and re-line receptacles with plastic liners.
• Assure that work assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc are properly stored during work periods, as well as before leaving the area for breaks, meals, and end of workday.
• Clean laundry equipment, carts, etc.

Laundry Aide Requirements:

• It is preferred that the Laundry Aide will have a minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program.
