Job summary

Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lemont, IL is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to ensure clean linens and personal items are properly laundered and distributed to residents. You will collect, wash, dry, fold, and redistribute laundry while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and redistribute laundry throughout the facility.
• Ensure the community remains in compliance with OSHA requirements and risk management policies.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and compliance with MSDS regulations.
• Handle potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases while following proper precautions.
• Work collaboratively as part of the housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure clean linens and personal items are properly washed, dried, folded, and distributed.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety.
