Arc at El Paso is seeking a Laundry Aide for the 2nd shift (Part-Time) to ensure high-quality laundry services for residents and to maintain a clean, safe environment in the laundry department.

The role requires attention to infection control standards and the ability to operate in a fast-paced facility setting. Candidates must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute laundry, linen, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day Laundry Department functions, to assure that quality laundry services are provided, to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents of the facility, and to assure the facility laundry is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Essential Duties

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute laundry, linen, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.
• Assure that work/assignment areas are maintained, clean, and free of hazardous conditions.
