Job summary

Regency Pacific is seeking a Laundry Aide to support the care facility with laundry and linen tasks. Shifts are Friday through Sunday, 11AM–7PM, providing essential service to residents and the facility.

You will handle linens, ensure cleanliness, and help maintain a respectful, home-like environment for residents while following safety and aseptic guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Fold and distribute clean linens.
• Clean dryer lint screens.
• Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear.
• Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly.
• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

• Clean dryer lint screens
• Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear
• Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly
• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

You Currently:
