Arcadia Care is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform day-to-day Laundry Department functions, ensuring quality laundry services and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary facility for residents.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold or hang laundry and ensure work areas are clean and free of hazards, supporting infection control standards and the overall operation of the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school degree or its equivalent.
• Must demonstrate ability to make independent decisions when warranted.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute laundry, linen, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.
• Assure that work/assignment areas are maintained, clean, and free of hazardous conditions.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day Laundry Department functions, to assure that quality laundry services are provided, to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents of the facility, and to assure the facility laundry is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
