Arcadia LTC is seeking a Laundry Aide for the 2nd shift (Part-Time). Hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The role ensures quality laundry service, maintains a clean and sanitary facility, and supports residents’ welfare. The position supports infection control and daily operational needs in the laundry department. Responsibilities include washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry while keeping work areas hazard-free and compliant with procedures.

Qualificações

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsabilidades

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang laundry, linens and garments per procedures and infection control standards.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day Laundry Department functions, to assure that quality laundry services are provided, to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents of the facility, and to assure the facility laundry is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Essential Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute laundry, linen, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.
• Assure that work/assignment areas are maintained, clean, and free of hazardous conditions.
