Job summary

Regency Coupeville is seeking a Laundry Aide for a full-time role working Friday through Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM. You will assist in laundering resident clothing and facility linens, fold and distribute clean linens, and inspect equipment, while maintaining a clean, organized environment.

You must read, write, speak, and understand English, show compassion for seniors, and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Benefits are provided in this role.

Responsibilities

• Fold and distribute clean linens.

• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

You will:

• Fold and distribute clean linens.
• Clean dryer lint screens
• Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear
• Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly
• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
