Job summary

Phia LLC in Boston invites applications for a 6-month internship to gain hands-on experience in corporate IT. You will redesign, optimize, and automate our internal IT Service Desk portal in Jira Cloud, and contribute to ongoing IT operations, security and network initiatives.

You'll work across IT, Information Security and Network Operations, gaining exposure to Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365 and Apple ecosystems, with scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python.

Qualifications

• Recently completed Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT or related field.
• Available for a 6-month internship in a corporate IT environment.
• Solid IT fundamentals; curiosity and motivation to learn by doing.
• Some knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Apple environments.
• Interest in system administration, cloud technologies and automation.
• Exposure to PowerShell, Bash/Shell or Python scripting.
• Enjoys investigating problems and helping others with tech issues.
• Able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Redesign, optimize and automate the internal IT Service Desk portal in Jira Cloud.
• Contribute to day-to-day IT operations and IT support.
• Collaborate with IT, Information Security and Network Operations teams.
• Gain exposure to Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365 and device management.
• Build dashboards and turn operational data into insights.
