Job summary

Plexus Corp in Raleigh, NC is seeking an IT Intern to assist in developing, testing, documenting, implementing and maintaining new and current systems and applications, and to support daily IT functions. This non-exempt internship offers hands-on learning in a corporate environment with exposure to enterprise tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure user satisfaction by resolving routine operational issues using Plexus policies.
• Utilize problem solving to resolve service desk tickets and document resolutions.
• Review monitoring systems and analyze performance data to present metrics.
• Develop or update project, system and disaster recovery documentation and SOPs.
• Assist in developing simple to moderate new applications to fulfill company needs.
• Complete assigned projects to enhance, maintain and support software and hardware.
• Follow standard practices in analyzing situations or data.
• Uphold cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and reporting suspicious activity.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS (in progress)
