Job summary

Element Solutions is seeking an IT Intern to support internal IT operations for a 12-week period. You will gain hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, and building tools to automate workflows using cloud platforms like GCP and AWS.

You will work on monitoring, documentation, asset tracking, and incident response while collaborating with security to address issues and contribute to roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field at a Maryland university.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Basic IT troubleshooting and core IT principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal IT support for staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and service issues.
• Analyze IT workflows and systems to find process improvements.
• Develop tools/scripts to automate routine IT tasks.
• Assist with device management via MDM and cloud platforms (Mosyle, Intune, AWS, GCP).
• Help set up monitoring/alerting for internal systems.
