Job summary

E-Space is seeking a Help Desk Technician Intern to support internal IT operations, ensuring teams have secure, functional tools. This role offers exposure to user support, hardware/software management, and IT best practices in a growing tech environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in production IT, working with Windows/macOS, Active Directory-like tasks, and security camera systems, with mentorship from seasoned IT staff.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing coursework in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common applications.
• Interest in IT administration, systems support, or help desk work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for employees (hardware, software, access issues).
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding (laptops, accounts, permissions).
• Troubleshoot basic network, device, and application issues.
• Assist with running, labeling, and terminating network cabling as needed.
• Support installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of security camera systems.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff as needed.
• Assist with special IT projects as needed.
