Job summary

SpaceX is hiring an Integration & Test Engineer for Falcon & Dragon. You will lead build/inspection of major assemblies and collaborate across design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust integration of vehicles.

The role involves developing manufacturing processes, supporting high-volume production, and improving production efficiency in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials or industrial engineering.
• 1+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production (internship and school projects qualify).
• Master’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials or industrial engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and inspect structural, propulsion, and integration of Falcon & Dragon vehicles.
• Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to solve large-scale production challenges.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability with designers in a fast-evolving production environment.
• Address non-conformances and implement root-cause corrective actions with QA.
• Plan and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades for volume production.
• Refine floor layouts and product flow to ensure on-time vehicle delivery.
