Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Launch Site Mission Manager at Vandenberg AFB to own mission planning and ensure customer requirements are met for launch site processing. You will coordinate with Mission Manager and operations teams to support polar and high‑inclination missions.

Responsibilities include interfacing with customers, preparing safety and interface documentation, leading rehearsals, and contributing to spacecraft processing and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or science is required.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on hardware or software project work.

Responsibilities

• Act as launch site focal point for spacecraft range requirements and safety docs.
• Lead interface validation with spacecraft customers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Be the SME for customer spacecraft processing, transport, and logistics.
• Plan technical content for launch portions of design reviews and ground ops planning.
• Plan and manage spacecraft rehearsals and inputs into day-of-launch operations.
• Coordinate daily processing and scheduling; contribute to integrated launch schedules.
• Identify and codify process improvements for standardization.
• Draft launch base elements of new proposals and contracts.
• Plan, schedule, and staff customer launch site visits and technical meetings.
