Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Launch Site Mission Manager at the Vandenberg complex to own mission planning and launch site operations for national security space missions. You will coordinate with mission managers and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met, maintain site certification, and advocate for customer feedback.

The role involves hands-on management of launch site processing, rehearsals, and daily scheduling, with duties extending from spacecraft arrival to launch day

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or science.
• 5+ years of technical project management experience.
• 4+ years of experience working hands-on with hardware or software technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Function as launch site focal point for spacecraft range requirements and safety documentation.
• Serve as launch site point of contact for spacecraft interface requirements validation.
• Be the subject matter expert for customer spacecraft processing, transportation, and logistics at the launch site.
• Plan and generate technical content for spacecraft design reviews and ground operations planning.
