Job summary

Kubota Tractor Corporation is seeking a Demand Planner to optimize inventory levels while balancing investment, fill rate, and customer service. The role leads new model launches and analyzes demand trends to ensure parts availability and alignment with supplier ordering requirements.

The position requires coordinating across Service, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, IT, and more to drive forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Industrial or Supply Chain Engineering.
• In lieu of a degree, 5 years inventory or supply chain management experience.
• With a degree, at least 3 years inventory management experience.
• Expert knowledge of Aftermarket Service Parts; industry knowledge preferred.
• SAP ERP (APO, WM, BW) and WMS experience preferred.
• IT systems knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of statistical programming software (R, SAS or Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Forecast high-volume and new parts and monitor inventory to meet fill-rate goals.
• Develop trends and data to apply best-fit forecasts for fill rate and inventory.
• Oversee service parts new model launch process and readiness.
• Manage forecasting, stock levels, replenishment and deployment.
• Improve demand planning processes, fill rates, and inventory costs.
• Support cross-functional guidance to other departments (Service, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, IT).
• Analyze part master data including lead times, price, and supplier requirements.
• Generate and interpret reports to support availability and fill rates.
• Provide detailed analyses with conclusions for presentations.
