Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Planner in Peoria, IL to proactively manage planning outputs, balance inventory with order fill, and release parts requirements to the supply chain. You will monitor demand trends, forecast levels, and adjust system parameters in collaboration with management.

The role involves planning tens of millions in inventory, coordinating with sourcing, customer service, and expeditors, and driving improvements through root-cause analysis and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations or business or an Associate's degree with relevant work experience.
• CPIM, CSCP or CPM Certification a plus.
• Professional PC skills in Excel and PowerPoint; high-level skills in Inventory Planning System.

Responsibilities

• Plan $40-50M+ of inventory using computer systems to fulfill customer requirements while controlling on-hand inventory levels.
• Communicate with sourcing, customer service and expeditors to fulfill order requirements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, establish countermeasures and maintain performance metrics to meet business plans.
