Job summary

Amazon seeks a Quality Engineer for the Leo Payload Processing Quality team. You will own quality system development, define processes, and contribute to design requirements used across the business.

You will work within an AS9100-certified quality system and partner with Receiving Inspection, Supplier Quality, and Engineering to ensure high reliability for Leo production. Key responsibilities include leading QMS initiatives, root cause analysis for production issues, and driving continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline required.
• 3+ years of experience in large product assembly quality engineering related to manufacturing or operations.
• Experience developing functional specs, design verification plans and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Leo Quality management activities, including process definition and validation for assembly and test methods.
• Contribute to Material Review Board discussions for disposition of nonconforming material.
• Lead the development and launch of multiple aspects of the Quality Management System across Leo.
• Investigate root cause corrective actions for production processes immediately before satellite launch.
• Collaborate with Receiving Inspection, Supplier Quality, and Engineering to qualify inspection methods.
• Be the SME in launch vehicle payload processing quality assurance for the Leo Production System.
