Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to build and own the quality foundation for the software stack powering in-flight connectivity for airlines. You will define QMS processes, establish traceability from requirements to tests, and drive aviation-grade quality across sprints and interfaces.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Automation testing experience
• Manual testing experience
• QA lead on medium to large projects
• Experience developing high quality test plans, designs, strategies, and execution
• Experience with test case management and issue tracking tools (Jira, TestRail/TestLink)

Responsibilities

• Establish the Quality Management System (QMS) framework and document quality processes for development through certification.
• Own the test strategy for unit, integration, system, and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
• Build and execute integration test plans for program milestones.
• Establish bidirectional requirements traceability through design, tests, and results.
• Define performance test criteria and build infrastructure to validate them.
• Develop test automation for the CI/CD pipeline.
• Promote testability in architecture reviews and design reviews.
• Establish defect management and quality dashboards for release decisions.
• Champion quality culture and ensure quality gates are not bypassed by schedule pressure.
