Job summary

Amazon Leo Manufacturing Quality Engineering is seeking a Sr. Mfg Quality Engineer to own quality outputs for critical satellite sub-assemblies.

You will lead defect-reduction initiatives, work with Inspection, SQE and Engineering teams, and mentor others to build a collaborative quality organization. The role emphasizes AI tooling adoption, cross-functional projects, and driving KPI performance within the Leo program in Kirkland, WA.

Qualifications

3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Be accountable for the overall Quality of a critical satellite manufacturing value stream.
Lead MRB discussions to determine dispositions for nonconforming material.
Drive defect reduction activities and prevention to avoid recurrence of defects.
Collaborate with Inspection, Supplier Quality and Engineering teams to improve processes and systems.
Communicate and execute cross-functional projects to meet KPI targets.
Mentor talent and foster a collaborative culture within MQE.
