Job summary

Amazon seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Quality Engineer to own the quality outputs of critical satellite sub-assemblies within the Leo program in Kirkland, WA.

You will drive defect reduction, lead MRB discussions, and partner with Inspection, Supplier Quality and Engineering to scale robust processes and AI-enabled improvements. You will mentor teammates, deliver KPI-driven quality improvements, and support the rollout of manufacturing and inventory systems across the Leo value stream while upholding

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• Master's degree preferred in electrical or computer engineering.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams and NPI product qualification methods (RCCA, APQP).

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the overall quality of a critical satellite manufacturing value stream.
• Lead MRB discussions to determine product dispositions for nonconforming material.
• Drive defect reduction activities and implement preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with Inspection, Supplier Quality, and Engineering to improve manufacturing processes and scale improvements.
