Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer II to build and own the quality foundation for the software stack powering in-flight connectivity. Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.
• Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution.
• Experience using test case management tools (Jira, Test Rail, TestLink) and issue management tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Quality Management System (QMS) framework and document quality processes and workflows for development through aviation certification and production release.
• Own the test strategy for unit, integration, system, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Build and execute integration test plans for program milestones.
• Establish traceability from requirements to test cases and results.
• Define and enforce performance testing and acceptance criteria with measurable targets.
• Build test automation for the CI/CD pipeline.
• Drive design for testability and conduct architecture/interface/code reviews with a focus on testability.
• Establish defect management and quality reporting, including dashboards for release decisions.
